EmTech Conference 2010 following MIT-India Technology Review
Prakti Design's work was featured in the MIT-India Technology review of October 2009 (read: "No more soot in the kitchen for rural women"). Later on, Prakti founder was invited to share his insights on innovative design and appropriate technology for the base of the pyramid at the EmTech Conference held in April 2010.
Partnership for Clean Indoor Air, March 2009 - Special Achievement Award
The Partnership for Clean Indoor Air is a collaborative effort of over 500 partner organizations committed to improve health, livelihood, and quality of life by reducing exposure to indoor air pollution from household energy use. Prakti Design was recognized for its Prakti's application of rigorous field testing and engineering excellence resulting in improved stove design and clean, efficient cooking technologies.
