Our impact


Prakti Design is a social enterprise driven by effective and sustainable impact. Our stoves' social impact ranges from health to the environment and benefits stove users from the first day of use. In addition, our comprehensive model for stoves design, manufacturing and distribution will further improve livelihoods in the users' communities and is highly replicable at the global scale.

Prakti Design is also constantly participating in the efforts of the stoves community by sharing insights and lessons learned as well as raising further awareness about improved cookstoves. Our social impact is monitored within established impact standards.


To date, Prakti stoves have improved the lives of 100,000 people over India, Nepal, and Haiti. Our high impact is globally replicable and we aim at improving the lives of 50 million people within the next 10 years.
